Everyone can feel a little rusty in their skills after our long Minnesota winters. Here‘s a chance to start the season with a "tune up!"
Our club will have a BRC2 class on 5/18/24 from 2-7pm. See below for details about signing up. Class is limited to 12, so sign up now!
Go to:
https://www.rideracademy.com/COURSE/curricula/course-BRC2.php
Click "Schedule and Register" at top center of this page. Ours is the BRC2 course on 5/18 from 2:00pm-7:00pm through Rider Academy. The range will be at Sears St. Paul, 425 Rice Street, St. Paul, 55103.
Use promo code BMWBETH to get our price of $99. (Rider Academy chose that, not your VP)
Please know we have applied for and will receive $49.50 reimbursement to club from the Clark Luster Group Safety Training Scholarship from the MOA Foundation AFTER the training. So, if you register, AND attend, AND show us your completion card, you will be reimbursed $49.50 (50% of the class price).
BASIC RIDERCOURSE 2 - SKILLS PRACTICE
The Basic RiderCourse 2 is a half-day course for endorsed riders who want to become more comfortable riding their own motorcycles.
Great as a spring refresher, to sharpen skills, or to get more comfortable with that new or new-to-you bike, this course may also be taken while carrying a dedicated passenger. (Rider and passenger may not share riding responsibilities).
Students will explore risk management and assessment strategies, and practice on-cycle drills with an emphasis on cornering, braking and swerving. Total instructional time is 5 hours, conducted on Rider Academy practice range.
Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride St. Paul
There are DGRs in St. Paul, Lake Minnetonka, and Belle Plaine this year but the event is worldwide. This event raises funds for men’s health. Gentlemen and gentlewomen bring out their vintage machines and dapper attire to benefit this worthy cause. Can’t ride? Consider donating!
