I’m honored to be elected to my fifth year as President.

We had a good 2018 and I am anticipating an even better 2019.

Our annual winter brunch was well attended.It seemed everyone had a good time.Norine did a great job collecting door prizes.My luck was recognized with the Hard Luck Shaft Award.

I’ve been passing some of the time this winter with planning rides for this summer. We have already registered for the BMW MOA Rally in Lebanon, TN. Johnson City, TN was one of my favorites as the roads in the area were great.We may take a ride from the rally to Lynchburg for a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery.No drinking until we are back at camp.

Motorcycle Show, then Lakes and Legends Sunday February 3rd, 3PMLakes & Legends

 

The motorcycle show is open Sunday 10-3 so if you are at the show that day it would work nicely.If you are heading to a Super Bowl Party you would still have time to visit for a little while.If you hate dogs you will want to skip this one as there is also a meet up for a dog owners group 12-5.


Valentine's Day:  Yes, we're having a membership meeting  
February’s meeting takes place on Valentine's Day.  Bring your sweetheart and enjoy a presentation on riding Vespa’s in Croatia and Slovenia by Norine McVann and Vicki Breese.

Hiawatha Rally:

Hiawatha Rally registration was opened over the weekend and is ready to go. Diane and I are registered, and planning is well under way.Be sure to register early and be entered into a drawing for a free Kermit Chair.Early registration closes on May 3rd.Please consider volunteering for a shift or two.Volunteer sign-up is also online.

 

Grand Marais Camp Out:

If you are working on your vacation schedule be sure to include the Grand Marias Camp Out, August 23-26.Steve Reese has volunteered to continue the tradition and will lead the event.
